Suyin and I arrived at a very wet Gardens by the Bay, so we decided to switch over to National Gallery an hour before closing, which turned out to be the wisest choice, as the rain didn’t let up till well over 9 PM. Even National Gallery was quiet on this grey Saturday, which made our artsy yogi photoshoot a breeze!
Suyin has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and teaches gentle yoga to elderly folks at community centers. I reckon she’s one of the strongest yogis in Singapore, having attained both the elusive press handstand and beautiful king dancer pose. We made the most of our evening playing amongst National Gallery’s iconic columns until the guards reminded us all-too-soon of the closing time.
