Alka and Mai’s brainchild Podium Society has been bringing together independent women and makers for a year now, so what better way to commemorate the milestone than a laid-back slumber party? Both Alka and Mai were there early to prep the amazing feast, mixology station, floral arrangements and even the cutest necklace for name tags for their guests in the modern yet cozy lounge at Third Space, a perfect size for 20 or so guests.
All the best pyjamas in town were out for this laid-back party, where guests got to create their own bespoke cocktails, indulge in a buffet-style dinner with vegan options and best of all, connect with like-minded women leaders residing in Singapore from all different backgrounds. Our night concluded with a short, sweet speech from both Alka and Mai before we launched into some fabulous home-baked cakes and charades.
