Tucked in the tranquil corner of Boon Lay, the Nirvana Memorial Garden co-organised the Vesak Day celebrations with the World Vegan Organization Singapore.
Shuttle buses brought in crowds all the way from the east of Singapore to join in the joyous ceremony of buddha bathing, prayers, a colouring contest for kids, sing-a-longs and a wide array of vegetarian food options on site.
This event was both environmentally and spiritually conscious, with special sharing sessions on animal welfare, doing our part for planet earth and exploring our mind-body connections. The kids had a wonderful time singing, dancing, getting their favourite balloon animals made and bonding with their parents over the colouring contest segment.
