Fuss-free shots, slow walks and plenty of quality family time made our morning excursion enjoyable for everyone, especially for Charlotte’s elderly parents as dad’s knee is not as good as it used to be. Charlotte doesn’t see her Malaysian parents often enough, as she is away in Michigan working hard most of the year, so this not-so-mini Asian trip is a way to treat her parents to good food, beautiful attractions and a comfortable holiday.
We visited Singapore’s top sights, got pretty lucky with an almost-empty Merlion in the morning, and got the best of the Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay and Cloud Forest without the usual crowd. Ah, the magic of weekday mornings!
