This might just be orchard road’s best kept secret in terms of wedding buffet lunch venues. Ayumi and Derek hosted their wedding luncheon at Makan@Jen, a spacious restaurant within Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway, just above the busy orchard road but an oasis in itself.
A relaxed buffet lunch meant Ayumi and Derek could spend more quality time catching up with over a hundred family and friends who flew in from different parts of the world. Two emcees ran the show in English and Japanese, with friends helping out at the reception. We concluded with a wonderful series of toasts, a short first dance from the shy couple and plenty more group photos of course!
