Singapore Travel Photography

urbanscapes | awesome food | melting pot

Lean out towards the window of your airplane as it banks towards our famous Changi Airport and if it’s in the night, you’ll see our city lights twinkling into existence, possibly reflected in the unending ocean that surrounds our little island. In the day, it’s easy to spot the rows and rows of soaring apartment buildings, and the long jogging track of East Coast Park, one of our biggest coastal parks that leads all the way up to Changi.

You might even notice how neat and orderly it is already, the subtle urban planning across decades that places development amidst nature, the evenly spaced rows of lamps, the perfect roads, and the iconic control tower materializing in the distance as your plane descends towards our airport.

Welcome to the lion city island of Singapore!

Our Vibrant Garden City

Let us help you discover and capture what Singapore means to you

From the breathtaking 40m indoor waterfall in Jewel Changi to the vibrant pulsing colours of the Supertree Grove in Gardens by the Bay, Singapore is a multi-cultural city that doesn’t sleep. If it’s your first time here, a walk through downtown in the evening is unmissable with the silhouette of Marina Bay Sands and its boat-shaped rooftop against the setting sun, and so is visiting one of the many hawker centers to sample all manner of savory and sweet foods.

Everyone travels in different style – I’ve shot for entrepreneurs in full suits, families on guided tours, couples on their first digital nomad getaway and solo travelers who are zipping across the world to celebrate their birthday month. We can work out a game plan based on your needs – it can even incorporate headshots for your LinkedIn profile or yoga poses if you are a fitness influencer!

Why Choose Us for your Singapore vacation or business travel?

#1 Local expertise

I’ve lived here for over 30 years, taken a lot of friends, clients and family around and am super familiar with our nooks and crannies, best viewpoints, break spots along the walks, snacks and also off-beaten path tracks if you want to get all from the tourist hubbub. Best rooftop viewpoints in Singapore? I’ve got you covered. Hotels that have the interior design you want? You’ve got my list. A blend of nature and colonial architecture? I’ve got just the spot.

#2 Quick thinking problem-solver as a fellow traveller

As many of you already know, travel is not always a walk in the park. Adjusting to time zone differences, dealing with delayed baggage, and even experiencing our levels of humidity may put a spanner in the most perfectly planned out plans. While on shoot, I’m happy to work with your needs, tweaking our route if you need some shade or a break, offer up snack options if your stomach is rumbling and even the best taxi apps to download or sim cards to get before you get to Singapore.

#3 Multi-faceted photography and content marketing experience

Not all travellers are here solely for vacation, and if you are looking for something that combines work, leisure and even an event, I’m up for it! Entrepreneurs headed to Singapore for investment pitching may want the classic tourist photos combined with corporate shots suitable for press releases. Single travellers might want a dating profile shot update with candid shots of them enjoying their time here. My years of experience as a lifestyle photographer allows me to cover a range of photography that you might find useful

Our Singapore Travel Photography Services

Cityscape Photography

Thanks to decades of promotion by the Singapore’s Tourism Board (STB) and mega events like Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix and Taylor Swift’s 6-night concert, Singapore’s Central Business District (CBD) and Marina Bay Sands skyline is world famous, and it an unmissable sight for almost all tourists who come to this city.

Our cityscape photography captures the sprawling view of the skyscrapers downtown, including the majestic Fullerton Hotel across the waters along the bay, the iconic Marina Bay Sands from the Merlion side of the waterfront, and includes attractions like Esplanade Theatres and even our Singapore Flyer for longer shoots.

Street Photography

Singapore is home to many colourful murals splashed across traditional shophouses, tucked away in narrow alleys like Haji Lane to Joo Chiat and these neighbourhoods are often a great way to sample our local culture and gastronomical delights.

Our street photography services will highlight works from various artists, possible interactions with food or shop vendors, and lends an indie, hipster vibe to your photoshoot. Every corner and street holds a different story for you to discover, and this is a great way to understand how locals live their life and a bit more about our history.

Cultural and Festival Photography

As a melting pot, Singapore’s festivals are a vibrant display of Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasian and other cultures! We specialize in capturing the essence of events like Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, and Deepavali, bringing out the colors, emotions, and traditions that make these celebrations unique. Our city is extra alive during these big holiday events, with public performances, extended gallery opening hours, culinary feasts centred around the holiday theme. Find out what’s happening while you’re here on the Visit Singapore’s website.

Nature and Landscape Photography

Despite its urban nature, it’s possible for the adventurous, nature-loving souls to get away from the buzz of downtown and Orchard Road. Singapore is home to lush green spaces and tranquil natural spots, with non-touristy offshore options like Pulau Ubin, Kusu Island and UNESCO World Heritage Site Botanical Gardens that is home to one of the best orchid gardens in the world.

We have trails spanning the entire island, treetop suspension bridge walks and relaxing coastal beach spots to unwind. If this is something you are after, let’s chat more!

What to expect on our Singapore travel photoshoot

I like to keep most travel shoots laid-back so that you’re not stressed while on vacation, with a general direction for walking to cover key sights and viewpoints, with possible taxi or private hire options to get between further attractions (e.g. Botanic Gardens and Jewel Changi). There’s plenty of change areas and toilets in most places downtown, and I have a pocket list of decent outfit change areas that are clean and convenient!

If you absolutely love a spot and want to spent more time there, all you need to do is tell me. Or if you see something of interest in the distance that you’d like to explore – I’m all for it! I’m happy to advise on the crowd situations on weekdays and weekends so that your travel photoshoot goes as smoothly as possible.
