Oanh’s ROM at the Secret Patio Duxton was planned almost like a mini wedding – with a reception table, guestbook, lunch reception, toasts to the couple and Instagram-worthy photo spot. Their relatives from both sides are Vietnamese, meaning some aunties and friends came dressed in the beautiful Áo Dài, though all the uncles favoured Western-style suits.
We even managed to sneak downstairs for a couple of shots by the classic shophouses, and made the best of a covered shoot as it was raining cats and dogs. Oanh’s cute dad popped his head out as they were wrapping up their couple photoshoot, and his puckered fish-lips face got to be the funniest shot this afternoon.
