Little Julian’s godparents flew in just for this occasion – his baptism at the Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, a orthodox church nestled between the landed houses of Serangoon. His sister Maddy was just baptized last year, and clutching her favorite rabbit plush, she was finally cajoled to join in the celebrations by her daddy, who assured her that the low ceiling and gilded interior wasn’t anything to be afraid of.

Julian tender little smiles were heartwarming, and while he was a teeny bit intimidated by the priest, mum and god mum always got him back in a good mood with plenty of toys and cuddles.
