Working with young boys means being able to be on the constant GO mode – anticipating what’s next, giving them fun cues where they can be their authentic selves, and keeping the photoshoot dynamic to fit everyone’s needs. Joyce’s young sons are two bundles of energy, and they thoroughly enjoyed running, jumping, being swung around by mum and dad (how long till they both get too heavy, I wonder?)
Shooting in an outdoor space like Botanical Gardens gives these two boys a chance to run around and discover little critters, birds, plants, with their grandparents occasionally entertaining them, but also watching over them with love and appreciating their youthfulness from afar. Nothing like some playful antics by their grandkids to put a crinkle in their eyes!
