Friends and family descended into Khalsa Association’s ballroom on a Sunday night to celebrate Kris’s 80th birthday, with loads of food, live music and bling bling action! Jini, his daughter did most of the organizing, from the luxury black and white cake to the upbeat Bollywood band and decorations. If that’s not enough of a show of love for her dad, she started tearing up as she gave a heartfelt speech thanking her dad for all his love and sacrifice.
The birthday song went off with a literal bang as confetti rained down on Kris as he was blowing out his candle. What a wonderful feeling to have a multi-generational extended family (with some relatives flying in for this occasion!) and friends present for this special day.
