For her son’s birthday, Quinn wanted some keepsakes with both grandparents. Instead of walking around the SuperTree Grove in the hot afternoon, we decided to take the shoot indoors while keeping the nature close by visiting the Türkiye Flower Show 2026 in the Flower Dome.
With balloons, a cute little party hat and lots of good cheer on hand, both grandmas and grandpas took turn carrying our birthday boy around the gardens for photos, winding around the colourful mosaic-tiled corners with sparking Turkish lamps dangling from the ceiling and intricate water features set within vibrant flowers.
After an hour’s walk in the gardens, it was time to feast at Hortus, the wonderful Mediterranean restaurant within the Flower Dome.
